Listen to today’s edition of Inside Iowa
Fans of Coach Kirk Ferentz’s Iowa Hawkeyes are preparing the lists and checking them twice. No, they’re not preparing for the big day — this year’s visit from Ol’ Saint Nick. Instead, it’s this year’s bowl trip to Tampa and Iowa’s date with Florida in the 2004 Outback Bowl on New Year’s Day.
Here’s a list of University of Iowa-related events to assist in your planning if you are one of the 25,000 expected to follow the ’03 Hawkeyes to the Sunshine State for their third straight bowl game. It includes some “must-attends” — like the Hawkeye Huddle — and some new events, like the Hawkeye Radio Network’s “Outback Bowl Kickoff Show.”
All are open to all fans of the Hawkeyes.
