“I’m excited for Kristi Faulkner,” said Iowa Coach Lisa Bluder, who watched her team post its fourth straight Big Ten victory, a win that pushed the Hawkeyes’ league record to 5-2 and its overall mark to 11-7.

“It was really nice to see her bounce back from a slow start to finish so strong. It’s pretty neat when you think about it. She comes home and wins big on her birthday.”

Iowa led from start to finish, building its lead to 25 three different times during the second half. Cavey hit on 11 of 15 field goal attenpts and also grabbed eight rebounds. Iowa committed just 14 turnovers against 21 assists and made 13 of 15 free throw attempts.
