Fans of the University of Iowa’s football program can hear it straight from the coach next Wednesday – National Letter of Intent day for NCAA Division I football program — when Kirk Ferentz visits with the area media about this year’s group of new additions to the football program.

Live audio and live video of the media conference scheduled for 4 p.m. (Iowa time) at the Iowa Football Complex will be available free of charge inside the “Multimedia” area of hawkeyesports.com. The links will be posted under “Wednesday, Feb. 4” under the “Other Multimedia” listing. It’s a great opportunity to sample the audio and video programming that’s available to subscribers of the “College Sports Pass.”

The audio and video will also be archived inside the multimedia area of hawkeyesports.com and available for broadcast at a later date.

Personal biographies of all recruits will be available at hawkeyesports.com and hawkeyefootball.com at 4 p.m.

Mediacom subscribers across the state of Iowa will also have live access to Kirk Ferentz’s press conference on Wednesday, National Letter of Intent signing day for NCAA Division I-A football programs.

Fans of the Hawkeyes who are Mediacom subscribers have two opportunities to watch the media conference. Mediacom will provide live television coverage at 4 p.m. on its Mediacom Connections channels in the Iowa City (Channel 68), Cedar Rapids (Channel 10) and Des Moines (Channel 22) areas. It will broadcast a replay of the program at 6 p.m., Wednesday.

The program will also be available to Mediacom subscribers in other parts of the state of Iowa as well. Those fans are encouraged to check their local listings for the Mediacom Connections channel in their specific area.
