IOWA CITY, IA – Senior Stephanie Gran received Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honors for the second week in a row after leading her team to a win over North Carolina State last weekend.
Gran won three individual titles and the all-around crown. Gran tied the school record and posted a career-high to win the all-around (39.65). She also had career-bests on bars (9.9) and beam (9.9) to win both events. Gran placed first on floor (9.95) and finished second on vault (9.9).
This marks the fourth time an Iowa gymnast has been selected as Big Ten Gymnast of the Week. Senior Alexis Maday earned the honor the first two times.
