THIS WEEK — The Hawkeyes will compete at the Big Ten Championships Wednesday-Saturday in Minneapolis, MN. All events will be held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. All-session tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students. Single-session prelim tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Single-session finals tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS — Event prelims begin at 11 a.m. each day, with diving starting at 1 p.m. Both swimming and diving finals begin at 7 p.m. All swimming events will be in yards and all diving events will be in meters.

2003 BIG TEN REVIEW — The Hawkeyes placed eighth at the Big Ten Championships, scoring 227 points. Indiana won the team title with 595. Jennifer Skolaski and Nancilea Underwood led Iowa with runner-up finishes in the 200 back and three-meter diving, respectively. Both earned second team all-Big Ten accolades for their performances. Skolaski also placed third in the 100 back, ninth in the 500 free and swam legs on four relays that placed in the top 10. Underwood also placed third in the one-meter diving event. Overall, Iowa recorded 12 top-10 performances.

BIG TEN RANKINGS — Iowa is ranked in the top 10 in the Big Ten Conference rankings in eight events. Junior Jennifer Skolaski is ranked seventh in the 100 back and eighth in the 200 back, while sophomore Andrea Hemphill is ranked 10th in the 200 fly. Iowa’s relays are ranked as follows: 200 free (9th), 400 free (3rd), 800 free (6th), 200 medley (7th) and 400 medley (8th).
