IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa men’s and women’s golf teams are currently in third after one round of the Iowa Intercollegiate. Southwest Missouri State is leading the men with 288 strokes while the women are being led by Northern Iowa with 318.
Brian deBuhr fired a three under 69 and is tied for first. Sophomore Jon Feldickis tied for 22nd after carding a 75. Luke Miller, Todd Larson, and Andy Tiedt shot 76, placing them in a seven way tie for 25th.
For the women, Liz Bennett fired a 77 and is tied for third. Jill Marcum is in sixth after carding a 78. Brittany Lambert shot 82 and is tied for 14th. Karla Murra is tied for 20th, she shot an 83 today. Amy Riepma carded an 87 and is tied for 33rd.
Tomorrow’s tee times begin at 10:00 at Finkibine Golf Course.
