The Wisconsin vs. Iowa football game that is slated for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff in Kinnick Stadium Saturday, Nov. 20, has forced the Iowa women’s basketball team to alter its schedule for the KCRG-TV 9 Hawkeye Challenge.
Iowa will play Northern Illinois or Missouri at 1 p.m., while Southern Illinois vs. Northern Illinois or Missouri will tip-off at approximately 3:30 p.m. in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Game times were originally scheduled for 4:30 and 7 p.m.
Fans interested in attending both games next Saturday will be admitted free of charge. Season ticket holders who have assigned seat locations for the games will be provided access to their reserved seat(s). All other seating in Carver-Hawkeye Arena for the 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. games of the KCRG-TV 9 Hawkeye Challenge is general admission. Fans whom have already purchased a ticket for Nov. 20, will receive free general admission to any other 2004-05 Iowa women’s basketball home game, including Iowa-Iowa State (Dec. 1).
