Bowl Game Ticket Information

Nov. 14, 2004

Fans of Coach Kirk Ferentz’s 2004 Iowa football team interested in following the Hawkeyes to their bowl game, take note.

The UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will be mailing 2004-05 University of Iowa Bowl Game Ticket Applications to 2004 UI football season ticket holders and contributors to the National I-Club who are not season ticket holders during the coming week. The application will also be available in PDF format on hawkeyesports.com.

The bowl picture will get clearer after the results of Wisconsin at Iowa and Michigan at Ohio State are final.

Fans of the Hawkeyes will also have the option of placing their 2004-05 bowl game ticket order online at hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Iowa is bowl-eligible for the fourth consecutive season under Ferentz. The bowl game picture for the Iowa Hawkeyes and other Big Ten Conference teams will become clearer after the competition on Nov. 20 is completed. Iowa and Wisconsin, currently tied for second place in the Big Ten, square off inside historic Kinnick Stadium at 3:30 p.m. (Iowa time) that day. ESPN will televised that event live.

Michigan, the current leader of the Big Ten, plays at Ohio State. Kickoff for that game is set for noon. ABC-TV will provide live coverage of that event.
