Due to the Iowa-Wisconsin football game and the Iowa women’s basketball KCRG-TV 9 Hawkeye Challenge both being played Saturday afternoon in Iowa City, parking around the arena will be limited. Listed below are some parking options.
Free Shuttles – starting at 11:30 a.m.
Hawkeye Storage Lot – off of Hawkeye Park Road (take Mormon Trek or Melrose to Hawkeye Park Road). Drop-off and pick-up site is on Elliott Drive, directly east of Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Hancher Auditorium Parking Lot – off of Park Road or Riverside Drive. Drop-off and pick-up site is on Newton Road approximately 2 blocks from Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Schaffer Hall – located in downtown Iowa City. Drop-off and pick-up site is on Newton Road approximately 2 blocks from Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
ADA –
Limited ADA parking will be available in lot 46 west of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Fans must have a state handicap permit and show their women’s basketball ticket to access the lot.
Additional Parking –
All public parking lots for football will open at 7:00 a.m. and are available to women’s basketball fans for $10.00.
