IOWA CITY – The Alliant Energy Kid’s Day at Iowa football practice will take place Saturday in Kinnick Stadium. The practice/scrimmage will be open to the public.

Fans will be allowed to sit in the north end zone and the east stands. All other areas will be off limits. The northeast and northwest gates and gate five on the east side of Kinnick Stadium will be open for fans to enter. The gates will open at 10 a.m. and the practice will start at 11 a.m.

Iowa players will be available for autographs following the practice session, which is expected to last about 90 minutes.

This is also the football team’s annual canned food drive. All fans are asked to bring a canned food item. The main collection point will be inside the northwest entrance, but you’ll be able to drop cans off at all entrances.

Fans are reminded that game day search policies will be in effect. Only small purses, fanny packs, binocular cases, blankets and seat cushions will be allowed. Sealed clear plastic water bottles will be allowed.
