The game is the first of three November games for the Hawkeyes. Iowa has enjoyed tremendous success in the last month of the regular season the last three years, chalking up nine wins in 10 games en route to a pair of Big Ten titles.
Iowa travels to Madison, Wis., for a 2:30 p.m. date with Wisconsin next week before closing the regular season Nov. 19 with a home game inside historic Kinnick Stadium against Minnesota.
The winner of the Iowa-Wisconsin game will claim ownership of the “Heartland Trophy.” The victor of the Iowa-Minnesota game gains possession of the bronze pig, “Floyd of Rosedale.” Both trophies are currently on display inside the Hayden Fry Football Complex on the UI campus.
