The University of Iowa Athletics Department seeks applications for two assistant women’s soccer coaches. Both are full-time, 12-month positions and include full University benefits.
Responsibilities: Assist the head coach in the coaching and administration of a Division I intercollegiate women’s soccer program; work with staff in preparing for home matches; video analysis; develop and maintain statistical performance records for the program; coordinate and administer camps and clinics; community outreach; team travel; on- and off-campus recruiting and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) required; Master’s preferred. Required qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of the NCAA rules and a commitment to adhere to all rules and regulations of the University of Iowa, the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA; demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment; superior communication skills, effective organization and administrative skills. Preferred qualifications: Minimum of two years women’s soccer coaching experience at the Division I level and experience with ODP and/or high level club coaching experience; demonstrated success in recruiting at the Division I level; computer knowledge.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Terms of Employment: Full-time, 12-month appointment, starting date negotiable.
