Football Quality Control Administrative Assistant

The University of Iowa Athletics Department seeks applications for Football Quality Control Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time, 12-month position and includes full University benefits.

Responsibilities: Assist football recruiting coordinator with any logistical or administrative needs; coordinate schedules of coaches’ written and oral correspondence with recruits; maintain and update recruiting database; set up and coordinate unofficial and official recruit visits; assist with hosting daily visitors; assist with game day charting of statistics; organize incoming recruiting or scouting videotapes; represent the University and football program in various public engagements; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Required qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of the NCAA rules and a commitment to adhere to all rules and regulations of the University of Iowa, the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA; demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment; excellent written and verbal communication skills; computer software knowledge; effective organization and administrative skills. Preferred qualifications: Six to twelve months of administrative experience; familiarity with the sport of football, with a preference for experience at the Division I level; some knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, 12-month appointment, starting date negotiable.
