COLUMBUS, OH – Senior diver Nancilea Underwood qualified for the one-meter event in the NCAA Championships Friday.
Underwood won the one-meter event with a 12 dive total of 626.95, topping second-place finisher Christina Loukas by 11.15.
“It was a great first day of diving. The zones are always a tough meet. Everyone dove really well, so it was a great way to start the competition.”
Underwood will try to qualify in the three-meter event tomorrow. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. CST and finals will start approximately 15 minutes after the conclusion of the prelims. Fans can follow live action at www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com.
