GREENVILLE, SC – The Iowa men’s golf team completed the second round of the Furman Invitational in sixth place. The Hawkeyes carded a second round score of 294 (+6) which helped them break out of a four way tie for seventh. Overall for the tournament Iowa has totaled a two round score of 595 (+19).
Senior Brian deBuhr (E, T7) is leading the Hawkeyes and is in seventh place. Cole Peevler (+5, T27) led Iowa in round twp shooting an even par 72 boosting him to a tie for 27th. Andy Tiedt (+7, T39) and Luke Miller (+7, T39) shot two-over-par in the second round and are both in a tie for 39th place. Dan Holterhaus (+14, T82) also competed for Iowa.
Iowa will play the final round of the Furman Invitational at 8:00 Sunday.
