IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa volleyball team will play in three spring exhibition tournaments, including one in Iowa City.
The Hawkeyes will head to Palos Heights, IL, on April 1st to take part in an 11 team tournament featuring Big Ten foes Purdue and Minnesota, along with rival Iowa State. In pool play, Iowa will battle Dayton, Illinois State, New Mexico and Valparaiso.
On April 15, the Hawkeyes will host their own spring tournament, welcoming Missouri State, Drake, Indian Hills CC and a team of Iowa Alumni. Action starts at 9 a.m.
Finally, Iowa will wrap up its spring season at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora, IL. The Hawkeyes will join a 24-team field including Texas, Ohio, Arizona and Big Ten foes Wisconsin, Minnesota, Purdue, Northwestern, Michigan State and Indiana.
