The National I-Club’s annual spring banquet tour continues the week of Monday, May 15, with stops in Sioux City, Kansas City, and Burlington.
The “Black Team” of speakers anchored by Kirk Ferentz, head coach of the UI football team, UI coaches and staff will join fans of the Hawkeyes at the Siouxland I-Club event on Monday. The Kansas City Area I-Club event will showcase a variety of head coaches and administrators on Wednesday and the Des Moines County I-Club event will feature the “Gold Team” of speakers anchored by UI men’s basketball coach Steve Alford on Thursday.
One event is scheduled next week: A stop in Clinton for the Clinton County I-Club event. This event will feature the “Gold Team” anchored by UI men’s basketball coach Steve Alford.
“These events are an excellent opportunity for fans to get a closer look at our programs,” said Matt Henderson, executive director of the National I-Club.
“The tour gives us a chance to thank thousands of loyal fans for their generous support of Iowa athletics and let them know how their financial support through the I-Club has made a significant impact on the success of our programs. It’s also an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s teams and look forward to the upcoming season.”
