Two additional Iowa football games have been picked by network television for this fall. Iowa’s home game against Montana on Sept. 2nd will appear on ESPNU and the Sept. 16th Iowa State contest will be televised on ESPN. Both games will begin at 11:05 a.m. (CDT). The announcement came today from the Big Ten office.
Iowa enters the 2006 season with a streak of 52 straight games being televised. Iowa’s first three games and four of the first five have already been announced for television this fall. In addition to Hawkeye games against Montana and Iowa State, the Sept. 9th road contest at Syracuse will be on ABC and the Sept. 30th home game against Ohio State will be on either ABC or ESPN. The Syracuse game will kickoff at 2:35 p.m. (CDT) and the Ohio State game at 7:05 p.m. (CDT).
Although not picked for TV at this time, Iowa’s homecoming game against Purdue on Oct. 7th is set for an 11:05 a.m. kickoff.
