2008 Big Ten Basketball Tournament Information

The 2007-08 college basketball season for the men’s and women’s basketball teams at the University of Iowa includes trips to the annual postseason Big Ten Tournaments. Fans of the Hawkeyes are invited to follow coach Lisa Bluder’s and coach Todd Lickliter’s squads to Indianapolis.

2008 BIG TEN MEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
March 13-16, Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Ind.

Coach Todd Lickliter returns to the state of Indiana with his inaugural University of Iowa men’s basketball team. In 10 Big Ten Tournaments, the Hawkeyes have compiled a record of 12-8 with championships in 2001 and 2006. Last season Purdue defeated Iowa 74-55 in the quarterfinals. 2008 BIG TEN WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
March 6-9, Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Ind.

Coach Lisa Bluder’s squad travels to Indianapolis looking to use the annual postseason league tournament as a springboard to success in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. During the first 13 league tournaments, the Hawkeyes have won 12 of 23 games with championships in 1997 and 2001. Bluder has a 6-6 record in seven Big Ten Tournaments. Indiana ended the season for Iowa in 2007 with a 67-53 decision.
