How has the transition been so far from Kansas State to Iowa?
“The transition so far has been really great! I love it here at Iowa and the players and the coaches are great! The whole University of Iowa community has been great in supporting us as a team as well and that makes it a easier transition.”

What do you enjoy best about the University of Iowa?
“The thing I enjoy best about the University of Iowa like is all the support that people give the university.”

If you could have an all expenses paid trip anywhere, where would it be and why?
“I would love to go to Australia! I want to go there because I like Kangaroos and I have always wanted to see one in real life. Also I just think that it would be a cool place to go.”

What is your favorite sitcom rerun to watch and why?
“My favorite rerun would have to be The Cosby Show. I love Bill Cosby, I think he is really funny and it’s good clean humor.”

What is something few people know about you?
“One thing that most people wouldn’t know about me unless they asked is that I grew up on a ranch and I am truly a country girl. Some people can tell by the why I talk, but others just think that it is the Kansas accent.”

What song would you sing to win a karaoke contest and why?
“I would have to say Picture by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, but I would have to have my best friend Elissa to sing it with me. We always would sing that song together when we were in high school.”

What is your favorite Chris Farley sketch on SNL and why?
“I don’t watch SNL, but my favorite Chris Farley movie would be Tommy Boy. That movie is so hilarious; especially the part when he breaks the door and when his friend comes back and the door comes off when he tries to open it and Farley says, “What’d you do?” That is great!!”

If you were a superhero, what type of superpower would you want as your trademark?
“If I were a superhero I would want my super power to be invisibility, because you always want to be a fly on a wall sometimes, and when you are invisible you could become that fly on a wall. Also, you could scare people and that would be really fun.”

Your sister Joy plays volleyball at Kansas State. How often did you ask her for advice last year?
“Well, I really didn’t ask for her advice all that much, I am one of those people who keep a lot of things to themselves, but when I really needed to talk to someone I knew I could always go to her for good advice.”

What activities/hobbies do you like to do in your spare time or in the off-season?
“In my spare time I love to just hang out with my family and friends. When you are away at college you realize how much you miss your family and friends when you are away for a while! Other than that I am a big movie buff, and there is always college and professional sports to watch.”
