With tonight’s loss, Iowa now leads the Hy-Vee Cy-Hawk Series, 5-4. Iowa and Iowa State meet in wrestling this Sunday in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Tonight was the first time in six meetings in which the visiting team won. The Hawkeyes no lead the all-time series 20-17.

Junior Jenee Graham notched her first career double-double tonight, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. She also had five assists.
Junior Abby Emmert netted a career-high 17 points tonight on 4-6 shooting from the field and 6-6 from the foul line.
Iowa State scored 45 second-half points, bolstered by shooting a blistering 57.1 percent (16-28) from the field in the second stanza. The Cyclones made 10-24 (.417) from 3-point range tonight, matching an Iowa opponent high for triples made – Missouri State also drained 10.
The Cyclones out-scored the Hawkeyes 14-2 in fast break points tonight.
Iowa’s bench out-scored Iowa State’s reserves 17-12 tonight.
