THIS WEEK — The University of Iowa men’s golf team will travel to Hilton Head, SC, to compete in the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate, February 26-27. Monday’s competition will consist of 36 holes with the final 18 holes played Tuesday. Play will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on both days.

PARTICIPATING TEAMS — Along with Iowa, the following teams will be competing at Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate: Davidson, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Francis Marion, Furman, George Washington, Marquette, Mercer, Miami (Ohio), Northern Illinois, South Carolina-Aiken, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Toledo and Wofford.

LAST TIME OUT — The Hawkeyes finished ninth at the North Texas Classic with a team score of 936. Junior Dan Holterhaus led the team by finishing in a tie for 13th with a three-round score of 226. Senior Jon Felidck carded a 235 at the tournament and finished tied for 33rd. Sophomore Cole Peevler and junior Scot Glasford both posted final scores of 247 and finished tied for 47th. Junior Adam Miller finished 49th with a score of 251.

HEAD COACH Terry Anderson — Anderson is in his 14th year as Iowa’s head coach. Anderson was a four-year letterman at Iowa State. He also serves as the Director of Golf at Iowa’s Finkbine Golf Course. He was named the PGA Golf Professional of the Year for the Iowa PGA Section in 1998 and 2004. Anderson is assisted by Adam Kaufman.
