The University of Iowa field hockey team will host Missouri State, Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. This will be the Hawkeyes first competition this spring.
Missouri State visited Iowa City on August 19th for an exhibition game in which the Hawkeyes prevailed 6-0. Lauren Pfeiffer led the Hawkeyes with two goals and one assist. Jess Werley, Caitlin McCurdy, Kara Zappone and Lindsey Duffy also connected on goals of their own.
The Hawkeyes will compete in the Midwest Spring League for the first time this year. Their first league game is scheduled for March 31st at Northwestern.
