LAS VEGAS, NV — The University of Iowa women’s golf team is in 14th place after playing the second round of the UNLV Spring Invitational Tuesday. Iowa carded a 302, for a total 602, after playing 36-holes at the par-72 Boulder Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, NV. Brigham Young leads the 18-team invitational, with a score of 563.
Karla Murra (Sioux Falls, SD), Amy Riepma (Clear Lake, IA) and Jill Marcum (Clarinda, IA) are tied for 40th (+6). Riepma and Marcum carded 75’s today and Murra carded a 78.
