GREENVILLE, SC – The Iowa men’s golf team is in 17th place after playing the second round of the Furman Intercollegiate. The Hawkeyes posted a team score of 301 Saturday to put their total score for the event at 600. East Carolina is currently in the lead with a score of 581.
Senior Jon Feldick continues to lead the Hawkeyes. He carded a 75 in the second round and finished tied for 12th. Junior Dan Holterhaus posted the lowest score of the day for Iowa, a 73, and ended tied for 39th. Senior Bennet Hammerberg shot a 77 and finished tied for 81st. Junior Scot Glasford tied for 91st by posting a 76 in the second round. Junior Adam Miller shot an 85 and finished in 105th place.
The Hawkeyes will play the final 18 holes of the Furman Intercollegiate Sunday beginning at 8 a.m.
