IOWA CITY – Iowa golfer Jon Feldick was named Big Ten Men’s co-Golfer of the Week Wednesday after tying for 12th at the Furman Intercollegiate last weekend. Feldick shares this week’s honors with freshman Vince Nadeau of Purdue.
The senior posted a 54-hole score of 218 (70-75-73) at the Furman Intercollegiate to help the Hawkeyes to a 14th-place finish. His first round score of 70 was two-below par and his lowest round this season. Feldick is Iowa’s first recipient of the conference honor since Brian deBuhr was honored on March 29, 2006.
Iowa’s next competition will be April 14-15 at the Kepler Intercollegiate in Columbus, OH.
