IOWA CITY – The Hawkeye baseball team has a busy week ahead of itself, with seven games in seven days, six of which are at Banks Field.
Iowa will wrap-up its four-game Big Ten series with Minnesota today in Minneapolis, then return home for six games in Iowa City.
The Hawkeyes will renew their rivalry with Northern Iowa Tuesday at 6 p.m. The game has been designated a Glow Hawks game, where the first 500 fans will receive glowsticks.
On Wednesday, Iowa will host Northern Illinois at 6 p.m.
After a well-deserved day off Thursday, the Hawkeyes will host Illinois in a four-game series this weekend. Friday’s game starts at 6 p.m., and Hawkeye Rally Towels will be given out to the first 500 fans. On Saturday, the teams will play a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m., and all kids in attendance will receive a miniature Iowa Baseball home plate. Iowa and Illinois will wrap-up the series with a 1 p.m. game Sunday.
