IOWA CITY, IA – Junior Bart van Monsjou has been named Iowa’s men’s tennis Big Ten sportsmanship honoree. This honor is for individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
As Iowa’s No. 1 singles player, van Monsjou ended the year 12-6 overall and 3-5 in the Big Ten.
The Hawkeyes finished their season with a loss to Indiana last week at the Big Ten Tournament. Iowa concluded the year 8-13 overall and 1-10 in the Big Ten.
