IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Iowa swimming program has announced that registration is now open for the 2008 Hawkeye Swimming Camp. The two session camp is open to ages 9-18.
Session I runs from June 15-19 and session II runs June 22-26. Campers will receive individual instruction and evaluation on strokes, starts, turns, and much more from the University of Iowa swimming staff and several former Olympic swimmers.
“The coaching staff is excited to offer the opportunity to show young up-and-coming swimmers their first look at elite swimming and instruction,” Head Coach Marc Long said.
Cost is $395 for overnight campers and $295 for commuters. Applications sent in before May 1 require a $50 deposit payable to The University of Iowa Sports Camps. Enrollment is limited and full tuition must be received before June 1.
