Hawkeye senior Geoff Reins had a successful day Saturday in the 2009 Big Ten individual event finals, earning all-Big Ten first team accolades.
Reins was the only Hawkeye to compete during the day, posting a third place finish on floor exercise, with a final score of 14.925. He captured the Big Ten vault title after scoring a 16.125 on the event to earn him the win.
The Hawkeyes will return to action April 16-18 to compete in the 2009 NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, MN at the Sports Pavilion.
