IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa softball team’s two-game series against Michigan State this weekend has been switched from single games Saturday and Sunday, to a doubleheader, starting at noon Saturday. The change was made due to the threat of inclement weather Sunday afternoon.
Sunday could still be used as a continuation date, should any of Saturday’s action be delayed because of weather issues. If any game is postponed Saturday, it will be continued Sunday, weather permitting.
Also, the kids clinic originally scheduled for Saturday has now been cancelled. The ice cream social that was also scheduled for Sunday has been tentatively moved to May 8, when Iowa faces Minnesota.
