Oct. 8, 2009

IOWA CITY, IA – In the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll, released this week, both the University of Iowa women’s and men’s squads have raised their national standings. The women cracked the top 30, coming in at 29th in the nation receiving 33 votes, having previously been ranked 33rd. The men’s team received ten votes, putting them at 34th nationally. This is the first time this season the men have been ranked nationally.
