IOWA CITY, IA – – Below is a statement from Iowa Head Men’s Basketball Coach Fran McCaffery on signed recruit Ben Brust, who has re-opened his recruiting process.
“Ben has asked for a release from his National Letter of Intent. He is still very much interested in the University of Iowa. Ben would like us, as a new coaching staff, to pursue and re-recruit him. I have had encouraging conversations with Ben and enjoyed meeting him and his family. We look forward to getting to know Ben more in the recruiting process.”
