IOWA CITY, IA – There is still time to register for the University of Iowa volleyball program’s “Little Spikers” volleyball clinic. The Hawkeyes are inviting all children grades K-8 to join the team from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Sept. 18th and Nov. 13th. The clinic costs $20. All participants will receive an Iowa volleyball t-shirt. The Sept. 18th clinic will now be held at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Participants should use the West Entrance at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Nov. 13th clinic will still be held at the Field House, as originally scheduled.
Children will be taught volleyball basics using special lightweight “training” balls and a lower net. The Little Spikers will learn to “Play like the Hawks” and have an opportunity to take a group picture with the Hawkeyes following the volleyball match Nov. 26th at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
