IOWA CITY, Iowa — Head coach Marla Looper and the Iowa softball team will host the seventh annual “Meet the Hawks” night Tuesday, Feb. 8 on the second level of the Paul W. Brechler Press Box inside Kinnick Stadium.
The event, which includes light hor d’oeuvres and refreshments, is free to the public. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and fans will have the opportunity to meet Hawkeye coaches and players. Posters and schedule cards will be available for autographs as well. A short program featuring coach Looper and selected players will begin around 6:30 p.m.
Fans should enter Kinnick Stadium through Gate D.
Once again, the event is free, but fans interested in attending should RSVP to the Iowa sports marketing office at 319-335-9431 by Feb. 4.
MEDIA NOTE: This event will also serve as “Media Day” for the Iowa softball team. Players and coaches will be available at 5:30 p.m. at the Paul W. Brechler Press Box for interviews.
