IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa cheer and dance team will host a collegiate technique clinc Feb. 27 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. on the main deck of the UI Field House. Registration begins at 12 p.m.
The cost of the clinic is $20 per participant.
The clinic will help prepare individuals interested in Iowa dance/cheer squad for the 2011-12 tryouts. The dance portion will include work on skills technique, motion technique and dance style. The cheerleading portion will include co-ed partner stunting, tumbling and motion technique.
At the conclusion of the clinic, there will be time for questions and answers.
