IOWA CITY, Iowa — Approximately 1,000 tickets for the University of Iowa football team’s team practice Sunday at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines will be available today beginning at 12 noon at the Herky’s Locker Room location in Valley West Mall.
The tickets were among the 13,000 printed for the first-time event and were first available at the UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Gates to Valley Stadium will open at 12 noon on Sunday. The Hawkeyes’ team practice will begin at 1:30 p.m.
The Iowa football team will stage its annual spring practice at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday, April 27.

The UI Athletics Department also announced that fans of the Hawkeyes who present their ticket stub from the UI football team’s practice will be given two tickets for the price of one upon arrival at Principal Park on Sunday when the Iowa baseball team entertains Kansas State. First pitch for that game is set for 3:30 p.m. or 50 minutes after the completion of the Iowa Cubs’ game with Albuquerque.
