Ferentz Live Tuesday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz will meet with media Tuesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. (CT) in the Player’s Auditorium in the Hayden Fry Football Complex. The Hawkeyes play at No. 4 Ohio State on Oct. 19.

The briefing with local, regional and national media will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Both Iowa (4-2 overall, 1-1- Big Ten Conference) and Ohio State (6-0, 2-0) are coming off bye weeks. In their last action Oct. 5, the Hawkeyes lost at home to Michigan State, 26-14, and Ohio State won at Northwestern, 40-30.

The Buckeyes have the top scoring offense in the league (46.8 points per game); Iowa is third in scoring defense (16.8 ppg).

Ohio State holds an edge in the all-time series, 46-14-3, with wins in the last four meetings. Iowa’s last win was 33-7 in 2004 inside Kinnick Stadium; the last win in Columbus, Ohio, was 16-9 in 1991.
