Ticket Sales for Men's Hoops at Fever Pitch

Oct. 16, 2013

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Single-game tickets for University of Iowa men’s basketball games went on sale to the general public Wednesday morning and sales for a number of home games are quickly reaching sellout status.

There are no more tickets available, at this time, for Iowa’s home game against Michigan (Feb. 8), while only single seats remain for home dates against Notre Dame (Dec. 3), Minnesota (Jan. 19), Wisconsin (Feb. 22), Purdue (March 1/2) and Illinois (March 8/9).

UI students can still request season tickets online via UI’s official website hawkeyesports.com, while general public and UI Faculty/Staff still interested in purchasing season tickets need to CALL the ticket office (1-800-424-2957) to receive assistance in selecting their seats.

Fans interested in purchasing single-game tickets for all other home games may do so online, by phone or in person at the UI Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena during normal business hours.

Iowa’s first public appearance will be Friday, Oct. 25 when the men’s and women’s teams host the Black & Gold Blowout (8 p.m.). Tickets are only $5 for adults and free for UI students and youth. Although Blowout tickets are free for UI students and youth, everyone will need a ticket.
