IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz will meet with media Tuesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. (CT) in the Player’s Auditorium in the Hayden Fry Football Complex.
The briefing with local, regional and national media will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes host Northwestern at 11:01 a.m. (CT) Saturday inside Kinnick Stadium. The game will be televised on the BTN with Matt Devlin, Glen Mason and Jon Jansen calling the action.
Iowa brings a 4-3 overall and 1-2 Big Ten record into Saturday’s matchup following its 34-24 loss at No. 3/4 Ohio State on Oct. 19 in Columbus, Ohio. The Wildcats (4-3, 0-3) have lost three-straight games since starting the season 4-0, including a 20-17 defeat to Minnesota last Saturday in Evanston.
The Hawkeyes hold a 47-24-3 advantage in the series that began in 1897. The teams have split the past two meetings with Northwestern winning 28-17 last season and Iowa winning 41-31 in 2011. The Wildcats have won three of the last five meetings and 3-of-4 in Iowa City.
