Blitchok Named Michigan's Ms. Soccer

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Incoming University of Iowa women’s soccer freshman Sydney Blitchok has been named Michigan’s Ms. Soccer, it was announced by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.
 
As a senior, Blitchok scored 17 goals and had 28 assists in leading Grandville High School to a 20-2-1 overall record and to the Division 1 Regional Championship game.  She was first-team all-state as a senior. 
 
Blitchok is one of nine freshmen set to join the Hawkeyes for the 2016 season.
