MINNEAPOLIS — Two University of Iowa relay teams and junior Jack Smith will compete at the 2018 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships on March 22 and 24 at the Jean Freeman Aquatic Center.
 
The quartet of Smith, sophomore Will Scott, junior Matt Kamin, and sophomore Joe Myhre will compete in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay after qualifying with a NCAA “A” time in both events at the Big Ten Championships.
 
Smith will also compete in the 100-yard freestyle event after sprinting to a school record with a time of 42.71 in the finals of the Big Ten Championships.
 
The 200-free relay will swim on Thursday with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. (CT), while the 400-free relay and 100-free swim will take place on Saturday.
