MADISON, Wisconsin —The University of Iowa softball team’s schedule for the quarterfinal round of the Big Ten Tournament has been altered. The 12-seeded Hawkeyes were originally slated to take on No. 4 Northwestern on Friday at 7 p.m. (CT), but due to weather delays the game will now be played on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
The Hawkeyes advanced to quarterfinal action after defeating No. 5 Ohio State, 5-1, in opening round action on Thursday.
The rest of Saturday’s Big Ten Tournament schedule is unchanged, with the first semifinal at 1 p.m. (CT), the second semifinal at 3:30 p.m. (CT) and the championship game at 6 p.m. (CT). Every game of this year’s tournament is being televised live on BTN.
