IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa baseball team hosts Grand View on Tuesday in its home opener at Duane Banks Field.  First pitch is set for 4:05 p.m. (CT).

The Hawkeyes are 5-4 overall after winning two of three games last weekend at the CambriaCollegeClassic in Minneapolis.  Iowa tallied its second and third victories over a ranked opponent to close out the tournament, downing No. 20 North Carolina (5-4) and No. 14 Duke (7-5) on consecutive days.

Iowa will send redshirt junior Hunter Lee to the mound for his first start as a Hawkeye.  The right-handed pitcher is 0-0 with a 4.50 ERA in one appearance this season.  He allowed one run on two hits over two innings against Pittsburgh on Feb. 16.

Grand View brings a 2-10 record into Tuesday’s game.  The Vikings have lost 10 straight games after opening the season with back-to-back wins over Warner University.

Tuesday’s game will be streamed on BTN+ and Morgan Hawk will provide audio on Hawkeye All-Access/TuneIn Radio.
