IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa senior Isabella Solaroli and sophomore Meghan Conroy have been named 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I Scholars of Distinction, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced Monday.
The honor is the fourth consecutive for Solaroli, and Conroy earned her first nod.
The Division I Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2019-20 academic year.
Solaroli and Conroy were named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad earlier this year and earned Academic All-Big Ten status last fall.
