IOWA CITY, Iowa – – Student season tickets for University of Iowa 2020 football and 2020-21 men’s basketball will go on sale Tuesday, May 5, at 9 a.m. (CT).
University of Iowa students can purchase season tickets for the seven home football games for $150. Men’s basketball season tickets are $75. The men’s basketball schedule will be released this summer. All University of Iowa students currently enrolled for the fall semester can purchase season tickets at Hawkeyesports.com/studenttickets.
Students can purchase tickets by logging into their personal account. They can then select the football and/or men’s basketball season ticket options. Incoming Iowa students will have access to season tickets beginning Wednesday, May 20. A block of season tickets is held for incoming students.
Roughly 8,000 student season tickets are available for the 2020 football season. Approximately 1,800 student season tickets for men’s basketball will be available. Single-game tickets in the student section for both football and men’s basketball are available to students only if student season tickets do not sell out. Single game ticket availability is not guaranteed, as student football season tickets have sold out in advance for recent seasons.
Iowa football has won 47 games over the past five seasons, the best five-year total in school history and a total that ranks ninth in the nation. The Hawkeyes posted six home wins in 2019 and have posted 27 victories in Kinnick Stadium in the last five seasons.
The 2020 home football schedule included non-conference games with Northern Iowa, Iowa State (Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series) and Northern Illinois, and Big Ten Conference games against Michigan State, Northwestern, Nebraska (Heroes Game) and Wisconsin (Heartland Trophy).
The 2020 football schedule is listed below. The men’s basketball schedule will be posted on Hawkeyesports.com when finalized. Student section seating at both Kinnick Stadium and Carver-Hawkeye Arena do not have assigned seats. Seating locations are based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Students can purchase tickets at Hawkeyesports.com/studenttickets. Students can contact the Iowa Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-IA-HAWKS for assistance. The Iowa Athletic Ticket Office is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
