ANKENY, Iowa – Incoming University of Iowa women’s golfer Shannyn Vogler won her second consecutive IGHSAU Class 4A individual medalist honor Friday at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa.

Vogler, a senior at Bettendorf High School, finished with a 36-hole total of 143 (+1) to finish in a tie with Amber Henson of Marshalltown. Vogler earned her second straight title in a playoff.

During Thursday’s round, Vogler had 17 pars and one bogey. She followed it up with a three-birdie round on Friday but finished even par after going +3 over her final five holes.
