High School — Rated as a Top-500 prospect nationally by Perfect Game… ranked as one of the top prospects in the nation by “The Scouting News”… four-time all-league selection… all-section and Most Valuable Defensive Player as a senior… Most Valuable Offensive Player as a junior… helped team to a pair of conference titles in 2012 and 2013… hit .453 with two home runs and a .520 on-base percentage as a senior, .500 with a .587 on-base percentage and four home runs as a junior, .433 with two home runs and a .527 on-base percentage as a sophomore, and .385 with two home runs and a .404 on-base percentage as a freshman… played club ball for Trosky Baseball… also was a three-time all-league selection in basketball, earning team offensive MVP honors as a freshman and defensive MVP honors as a senior… academic all-conference in baseball and basketball.
