2013-14 — Recorded NCAA “B” qualifying times in the 100 (53.75) and 200-breast (1:57.37)… swam a collegiate best in the 100-free (45.65) at the Hawkeye Invitational and a season-best in the 50-free (20.60) at Big Ten Championships… recorded 17 top-five finishes, including 10 individual victories… placed eighth in the 100-breast at the Big Ten Championships… was named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 5 after posting two NCAA B times in a dual meet against No. 7 Minnesota… named to UI’s Dean’s List for spring semester… letterwinner.

2012-13 — Competed in the 100 and 200 breaststroke at the NCAA Championships… finished 24th in the 200 (1:56.93) and 33rd in the 100 (54.19)… set the school record in the 200 breaststroke (1:55.84) during his 17th place finish at the Big Ten Championships… also placed 13th in 100 breast (53.87)… posted NCAA “B” qualifying times in the 100 and 200 breast… swam collegiate best time in 50 free (20.58) at Big Ten Championships and 100 breast (53.60) and 200 IM (1:52.99) at the Hawkeye Invitational… named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Nov. 6 after posting two first, one second and one fifth place finish in a dual at No. 13 Minnesota… competed at the Short Course World Championships in Instabul, Turkey, finishing 22nd in the 200-meter breaststroke (2:10.86) and 39th in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:00.50)… letterwinner.
