SAC Relays with a collegiate-best 52-4 3/4 (15.97m), which ranks third all-time at Iowa… named Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week after his performance at Mt. 2013 — Indoor – Big Ten triple jump runner-upwith a collegiate-best leap of 50-10 3/4(15.51m)… that mark ranks fourth all-time atIowa… placed fifth in triple jump at Meyo Invite(49-2 1/2, 15.00m)… Outdoor – placed eighthin triple jump with a collegiate-best 50-3 1/4 at Drake Relays(15.32m), that mark ranks sixth all-time at Iowa… suffered season-ending injury at Drake… placed ninth in 100 meters(11.04) and ran 200 meters (23.56) at Lee Calhoun Invite… ran 100 meters at JimClick Shootout (11.14) and Musco Twilight XIV (11.25).

2012 — competed at Texas A&M… runner-up in the triple jump (50-2 1/2, 15.30m) at the 2012 Big XII Indoor Championships.

High School — Graduate of Selhurst High School in London … Coached by Steve Knight … Produced best marks of 52-0 (15.85) in triple jump and 22-3 ¾ (6.80) in long jump … Also competed for Croydon Harriers in club track and field for five years, coached by Mike Fleet … In summer of 2011, produced a personal best of 52-0 to place fourth at the McCain Jumps & Throws Fest … Matched his previous career best of 51-7 ¾ (15.74) set in 2010 in winning the Surrey County Championships in May of 2011 … Then improved to 51-8 ¼ (15.75) to win the CAU Inter Counties Championships … Won the 2010 English Schools Championships with a 51-7 ¾ mark, which improved on his previous career best of 50-10 ¼ (15.50) from a 2009 victory at the Surrey County Championships.

Personal— Babatunde Abayomi Amosu is the son of Moshood and Kodirat Amosu … Born November 1, 1991 in Nigeria … Has three siblings, Tayo, Wale, and Sola… Starting competing at age 14, also plays ping pong as a hobby … Architecture major.
